Renaming Field Labels​

You can rename field labels using the Rename option in the Customization Form. The name may differ in each module, however the underlying function remains the same.

Fields That Cannot Be Renamed​

Several fields in the Request Form are used across Borrowing, Document Delivery, and Lending modules and cannot be renamed:

  • Wanted By - Serves as Service Type in Document Delivery and Lending
  • ILL Number - Serves as Record Number, System Number, Rapid Number, depending upon System ID being used
  • OCLC Number - Serves as UI/LD Number, Bib Number, etc. depending upon System ID being used
  • Lender - Serves as Borrower in Lending

Renaming Tabs​

Tabs That Can Be Renamed​

You can rename tabs when the Rename option is available in the Customization popup:

  • Borrowing, Document Delivery, and Lending tabs on the Main page
  • Group tabs (Article Info, Loan Info, Imported Request, User tabs) on the Detail section of the Request form

Tabs That Cannot Be Renamed​

  • Workflow queue tabs on the Main page
  • Main tabs on Request forms (Detail, History, OCLC, Z39.50, PubMed/Docline)
  • Main tabs on User form (User Information, Requests, Accounts, Email History)
