Enhanced Rapid/RapidR Integration

Atlas Systems is currently collaborating with the**RapidILL**team to enhance integration within ILLiad to support the latest Rapid features.

Features

• Latest Rapid API: ILLiad will be updated to use the latest version of the Rapid API which supports
  • Variable due dates
  • Additional request states for better tracking/management
  • Support for borrowing notes
  • Renewal requests
  • Importing shipping tracking numbers
  • More efficient status updating when requests have changed status in Rapid
• Support for sharing a Rapid account in Shared Server Systems: Request importing and updating from multiple ILLiad sites.

Impact

• Staff training may be necessary to better understand changes to the ILLiad and Rapid workflows.
