Custom Reporting

The intent of the feature is to provide a quick option for gathering data together within the application for which there is not a canned report; not taking the place of those, but adding to them

Not intended to serve all reporting needs or super complex calculations or analysis within the application; to do that, you're probably still going to have to work outside the application

Creating and building templates is not resource intensive; but running those reports can be very resource intensive

Anyone can run a custom report, but there is a permission group for managing those templates

Per repo for repo specific reports!!!

The linked reports are canned, so you can search across records like for accessions and resources, by selecting your main record and then selecting a linked record, but those linked reports are canned
