Released September 10, 2026. Email sending fixes for System Manager mail settings and long subjects, and a safer Windows update installer

Fixes​

  • Password-reset and SSO invitation emails now send on servers where System Manager's mail settings live on its Windows service. The installer copies those settings to the web API and keeps the API running between requests so queued emails retry on schedule.
  • Sending email. A subject longer than 255 characters (usually a long item title) no longer fails with a server error.
  • Windows update installer. The new version is staged beside the install and swapped in only after the database upgrade succeeds, so a failed copy or upgrade leaves the previous version running, and the upgrade script again converges a database from any earlier 7.0 build on its own.
